PLOXX is a French video chat platform where a personalized avatar can face the camera instead of you. For ages 15 and up, free, and built like a game: you meet people, you play, you level up. This page is the reference on the brand - for the curious, the press and creators.

Safety, in plain words
PLOXX is for ages 15 and up, and the most important rule fits in one sentence: 15-17 year-olds never cross paths with adults - the two age groups are matched separately, no exceptions.

Who is behind PLOXX?
PLOXX is an independent site, built in France, with no media group or fund behind it. The project started from a simple observation: since Omegle shut down, 15-17 year-olds have had no online meeting place that takes them seriously - the big platforms moved to 18+, the rest does not moderate.
PLOXX bets the other way: make teen safety the core of the product, and make the rest fun.
