Is Chatspin for teenagers?
No: 18 and over, in the guidelines and on the safety page. The "looks under 18" report reason is a good sign that the team knows minors get in, and a reminder that the door does not stop them.
Do the face masks protect a child?
A mask is a layer over a real camera feed. It can be switched off in one tap, and it changes nothing about who is on the other side. It is a privacy feature for adults, not a safety feature for children.
